Overview

Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Business Performance Analyst to join its thriving Head Office in London - Knightsbridge. In this role you will be supporting the Head of Strategy & Performance with periodical reporting, ongoing KPI and Performance monitoring and development of analytical models to support business decisions. You will also be involved in the creation, implementation and cascading of relevant projects. As the new Business Performance Analyst you will be responsible for preparing the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monthly group forecasts, preparing analysis for the monthly management pack and to undertake commercial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators, including Sales, Transactional metrics, as well as CRM
  • Monitor performance, highlighting trends and analyzing/investigating causes of unexpected variance
  • Prepare the weekly, monthly, and any quarterly trade and performance decks
  • Support with Daily sales monitoring and retail specific requests
  • Support the Business Review processes to facilitate exchanges between Corporate, Regional Management and any other stakeholders involved
  • Develop models and analyses to support strategic decisions
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Support in creation, implementation and cascading of different projects

Qualifications

Functional

  • At least 5+ years experience as an Analyst
  • Working experience in multinational company or Retail firm is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficient PowerBI usage is a plus as well as experience with Board
  • Experience with merchandising metrics (stock, sell-thru) is a plus
