Business Operations Communication, Engagement and Change Manager

The Business Operations Communication, Engagement and Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the management communication and change activates related to functional process improvement, ensuring that it is implemented in an inclusive, engaging and effective way.

Location - Reading / Basingstoke / Hybrid role - flexible working from home available

Salary: Starting from £44,110 (dependant on experience)

Key Accountabilities:
  • Central co-ordination of the suite of improvement activities across the function by establishing a baseline and managing ongoing performance, risk and benefits realisation.
  • Own and maintain functional 'communication, engagement and change team' delivery, governance, policies and procedures.
  • Define the performance data, metrics and analysis required to demonstrate success and allow business decisions to be made by the Executive.
  • Lead and manage the functional communications team, defining plans and objectives, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Own and lead the functional change, communications and engagement strategy.
  • Own and lead the functional change, communications and change plan.
  • Oversee the management of functional communication and engagement events.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety health, security and quality and be a great team playerli>
  • Provide expert guidance and support to functional change activities / projects.
  • Manage the relationship with corporate communications, change, ethics and health and well-being practitioners to establish consistent and suitable ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain list of all improvement projects in the function, timelines for delivery, success criteria risk management plans, benefits realisation plans and performance metrics.
  • Lead the execution of the functional communications and engagement strategy and plan.
  • Deliver the calendar of functional communication and engagement events.
  • Change management subject matter expertise and guidance across the function action as Change Lead for significant projects.
  • Ensure that all documentation policies and procedures are adhered to through local functional practices.
  • Ensure the internal 'voice of the customer' and feedback is managed, communicated, and fully understood.
  • Manage the functional online platforms and workspaces and communications channels
  • Measure effectiveness of change and communication activities
