Job summary

A global aerospace organization seeks a proactive Business & Project Management Partner to join their team in Filton. You will be responsible for operational management, supporting project and performance management, resource planning, and people development. Candidates must have proven experience in business and project management, excellent communication skills, and ideally some experience in the engineering sector. This role is contracted until October 2026, with the possibility of extension.

  • Engineering sector experience preferred but not mandatory.

Job description

Location: Filton, Bristol (3 days a week minimum onsite)
Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Umbrella) / £29.15 per hour (PAYE) + (overtime paid at standard rate)
Contract Inside IR35: Until October 2026 (high chance of extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 4.5 days

About the Role

Carbon60 is seeking a proactive and experienced Business & Project Management Partner to join a global aerospace organisation in Filton.

You will play a key role in operational management, supporting project and performance management, resource planning, and people development. The position involves working closely with engineering teams to deliver business management solutions and ensure project commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure business and project management processes are followed within the engineering team
  • Support workload, resource, and financial planning, monitoring deviations and ensuring alignment with customer requirements
  • Manage internal and external resource supplier activities in compliance with company policies
  • Identify and act on risks, opportunities, and workload changes
  • Collate and report key performance indicators for effective management
  • Provide guidance and mentoring on business and project management best practices
  • Deputise for functional leaders in governance reviews
  • Onboard and mentor new team members
  • Drive continuous improvement and harmonisation across teams
About You
  • Proven experience in business management and/or project management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical, digitally literate, agile, and able to work autonomously
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and able to manage workload and planning independently
  • Engineering sector experience preferred, but open to candidates from other industries
