Overview

Business Manager (Depot Manager)

Salary: Competitive plus bonus, company car/cash allowance, private medical cover and pension

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Location: Bristol

What you'll be doing
  • Manage the Commercial collection business including people, financial management, strategic planning, business development and resources
  • Deliver effective and safe services to maximum operational efficiency, within budget and to Veolia requirements
  • Develop and manage the site budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and utilisation of efficient disposal and recycling solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development
  • Managing people & assets to deliver / exceed service expectations whilst delivering efficient & profitable solutions
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve business performance and ecological transformation
  • Formulate effective pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers
