Business Intelligence Analyst

Salary: £48,132 to £52,491

Location: Agile working with a blend of office and home

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week

Role

Our Business Intelligence team is transforming how the organisation accesses and uses data. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, apply the right analytical methods and communicate clear, actionable insights that inform decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and guide stakeholders at all levels to shape creative analytical solutions that support data led decision making
  • Use statistical and other analytical approaches to deliver high quality products that bring measurable business benefit
  • Extract, manipulate and interrogate data to generate insight, building, validating and testing analytical models
  • Design and build interactive Qlik Sense dashboards that provide timely insight, highlight trends and identify areas for improvement
  • Contribute to the evaluation of business change initiatives through structured analysis and research
Qualifications
  • Strong Qlik scripting skills, ideally including optimisation and an understanding of the Qlik security model
  • High level of numeracy, ideally with practical statistical experience
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data modelling and data visualisation
  • Exposure to advanced concepts such as probability, statistical analysis, operational research, predictive modelling, mathematics and programming
  • Planning and dependency management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple complex work streams
