As Business Development Manager - SaaS, your responsibilities will include:
Identify and reach out to potential clients, building a solid pipeline of new business.
Connect with decision-makers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to spark interest and build lasting relationships.
Understand client needs and offer tailored, profitable solutions.
Pitch ideas internally and hand over to the delivery team once deals are set.
Keep the CRM up to date with leads, conversations, and opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and close deals that add real value for the client and the business.
Keep an eye on market trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth.
Share customer feedback to help shape products and strategy.
Represent the company at events, conferences, and networking meetups.
Previous experience in business development or similar role with a track record of success - Essential
Previous experiencing working within Transport, Logistics and/or Freight and an understanding of market trends and challenegs - Essential
Excellent Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decisions markers - Essential
Comfortable working in a fast paced, scale-up environment where change is the norm - Essential
Previous experience within SaaS, B2B environment - Essential
In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive a competitive base salary and an uncapped commission model and huge earning potential. You will have flexibility to work remotely and in the field but you must be within commutable distance of Hertfordshire for visiting HQ.
