With a proud heritage and a forward-thinking approach, we’re looking for an ambitious and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto help us grow our client base, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue across key markets.

As ourBusiness Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing leads, and turning prospects into long-term partners. This is a pivotal role with real influence and strong career progression potential

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Salary:Starting from £30,000 (dependent on experience and on target bonus)

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and areas for growth.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and quotes to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development (preferably within automotive, transport, or logistics).
  • Previous experience with customers face to face is desirable.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential as you will be provided with a company car.
