Business Development Manager – Industrial Recruitment

Location: Herts & North London

Salary: Excellent Basic Package + Uncapped OTE up to £100k

About the Role

First Call Contract Services is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Waltham Cross and Tottenham operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business at a time of expansion.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial recruitment or a strong understanding of the recruitment and staffing industry. This role is perfect for a Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Branch Manager looking to focus purely on sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote our temporary and permanent recruitment services to local and regional businesses via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
  • Arrange and attend B2B sales meetings with decision-makers
  • Present tailored recruitment solutions to key clients
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships
  • Manage a sales pipeline and diary on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Attend regular service meetings with existing clients
Candidate Experience & Skills
  • Background in industrial recruitment, including new business development and account management (other recruitment experience will also be considered)
  • Strong track record in telesales or face-to-face sales within recruitment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to engage with hiring managers, HR teams, and board-level executives
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with some flexibility during peak periods.
