Are you an experienced Business Development Manager in the Heavy Duty/Vehicles Market looking for a new home-based position?

My client, based in West Sussex, offers an excellent opportunity for a UK Business Development Manager (working from home) to join their team, covering the Midlands. They are a global leader in manufacturing high-quality Human Machine Interface (HMI) components and solutions for various markets. From their UK base, they support UK and Northern European clients directly, as well as specialist distribution partners across Europe.

They are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager in the Fans/Motors Market with proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships, as well as the ability to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and experience selling into industries such as transport, automotive, or machinery.

Requirements:
  • Experience selling products into industries like transport, automotive, or heavy-duty transport.
  • Experience selling products such as motors, stepper motors, drives, or servos.
  • Proven ability to plan, develop, and achieve sales growth within a segment.
  • Experience working on design-led opportunities to identify solutions with customers.
  • Ability to maintain current clients and seek new business opportunities.

This position covers the Midlands - North UK, with frequent travel to customer sites.
