As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Business Development Manager - Central Eastern Europe to our global team. The position is based in our London offices (Hybrid – 3 days a week).

OVERVIEW

As part of the phenomenal growth SharkNinja has achieved over the last few years, we have created a new position of Business Development Manager CEE. This position will be key to driving the next phase of the business development in the CEE market. Working closely with the product team, marketing team and Digital team and with the European Hub, this person will be accountable of the customers’ growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a dynamic and committed Business Development Manager to help drive our business forward into new markets. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director you will be able to develop, implement and drive account specific plans & promotions in line with the Shark Ninja market strategy in the CEE market, focused on profitable sales growth throughout their portfolio. A solid experience of the Small Domestic Appliances being channel would be a clear plus for the role.

POSITION PROFILE
  • To build a sales strategy that achieves & exceed sales and margin targets for your accounts, launch new products
  • Grow the core category in the CEE market and launch new categories
  • Ensure that Shark & Ninja are represented in a positive and professional manner at all times both on-line and off-line
  • Planning and executing activities for both on-line, in-store and off-page to drive strong sales out performance
  • Ensure accurate forecasting in line with individual and company goals
  • Work within agreed Promotional (SOA) to ensure sales & margin targets are met
  • Negotiate winning scenarios for both SharkNinja and the customer at all times
  • Interpret market and sell out data into business opportunities
  • Organization of trade shows and retail events
  • Reporting of competitive activities & pricing
  • Participate in tradeshows, sales meetings and other Company events as required.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS)
REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Fluent English and ideally an additional Eastern European language
  • Minimum 7 years of successful sales experience.
  • Results driven, Strong negotiator, Exceptional analytical skills

  • Interpersonal/collaborative skills, Entrepreneurship and Initiative
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting sales data to make informed decisions.
  • Personable and recognizes the importance of building good relationships with customers, internal colleagues and other members of the sales teams.

  • Occasional travel to the region required
SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED

This position requires the ability to manage the flow of data, perform analysis, generate summary reports and communicate by voice or data while being connected in the office, at home or while travelling by laptop or mobile device regularly.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a Sales function in direct relationship with key retailers (Specialists and Food Chains) across the region.

Ability to travel to visit the customers.
