A well-established distributor is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Nelson to manage customer relationships and drive new business across the eastern UK. The ideal candidate will have significant B2B sales experience, ideally in machinery or related sectors, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities include planning sales activities, growing the customer base, and achieving sales targets. A full UK driving license is mandatory. Competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus uncapped commission and a company car are offered.
Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a well-established distributor, the role will primarily be focused on maintaining existing customer relationships, working on repeat business from existing accounts.
Based primarily from the company's northern site, the role will cover a large territory across the eastern side of the UK. You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while placing a strong emphasis on generating new business, primarily from sales enquiries produced through internal marketing activity.
This would be a great opportunity for someone from a Business Development, Sales, Account Manager, Field Sales or similar role.
