We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and relationship growth across Harneys Fiduciary's global network. With a focus on private wealth and offshore corporate structures, you'll play a key role in expanding our client base and delivering tailored solutions across multiple jurisdictions including the BVI, Cayman, and the UK.

In this strategic, client-facing role, you'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deepen relationships, identify opportunities, and position Harneys Fiduciary as a trusted provider of bespoke services.

Who will you be working with?

You'll be part of the Business Development team, reporting to the Director - Business Development, EMEA, and working alongside another BD Manager and a dedicated Client Services team. Collaborating across jurisdictions, you'll partner with legal and fiduciary experts to identify opportunities, manage prospects, and deliver seamless client onboarding and relationship management.

What will you be doing?• Oversee the process of converting new contacts into clients, actively reaching out to and cultivating new clients and business leads;
• Guide clients through the necessary documentation collection process to ensure a smooth and timely commencement of the business relationship and meet KYC requirements;
• Understand our products, jurisdictions, and competitors to effectively communicate our unique propositions;
• Understand the client's economic, political, and regulatory background to offer the best solution for their objectives;
• Work with BD team members to develop list of target clients, attend client meetings, prepare quotations and marketing materials;
• Research of prospective clients and markets/events, creating and pursuing leads and manage those through a pipeline to successful fruition;
• Maintain good communication with clients on a regular basis;
• Follow the latest industry developments and stays up-to date with corporate legislation and competitor offerings to identify new sales opportunities;
• Negotiate with new clients in relation to letters of engagement and associated compliance requirements as necessary;
• Ensure the business take-on process is conducted to the HF standard of quality and service delivery turnaround is met; and
• Assist in handling ad-hoc projects when required.

What do I need for success in this role?
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in law, accounting or a related field;
• Relevant working experience in Private Wealth offshore corporate structures;
• Strong technical ability in the private client field;
• Familiarity with selling corporate structures (entities, Trust, Funds);
• Familiarity with UK, BVI and Cayman Islands regulations;
• Good knowledge of UK, BVI and Cayman corporate transactions and succession instruments;
• Good knowledge of compliance and risk management procedures;
• Able to manage coordination of complex multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines;
• Ideal candidate will have a solid network within the industry;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is highly valued;
• Regular travel may be required;
• Results-oriented, and able to manage priorities and workload
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent people skills to build and retain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and intermediary relationships;
• Previous client facing and relationship managing experience.

This role is hybrid with 2 days per week working in our London office located near to Bank station.
