A leading logistics company is looking for an experienced International Business Development Manager to drive growth across pharma logistics, airfreight, and ocean freight. This role involves managing key UK accounts while hunting for new opportunities in a rapidly expanding market. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in business development or account management within logistics, with a strong understanding of UK export processes. Excellent communication skills and self-motivation are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in BD/sales/account management within logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Experience in pharma logistics is highly beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of UK export/import processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing UK accounts, deepening relationships.
  • Identify and win new business in pharma logistics & cold chain.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions including bulk deliveries.
  • Lead proposals, pricing discussions, RFIs, and client presentations.
  • Track and deliver against commercial targets.
  • Partner closely with internal logistics, operations & customer teams.
