Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading supplier of fasteners and fixings into the Engineering and Construction sectors, is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to grow their business in Northern Ireland. The role is suited to an experienced sales professional looking to make the next step in their career with an exciting and growing business.

The role
  • Generate leads and sales to grow the business within target area
  • Develop and create a strong pipeline
  • Develop an understanding of the business and its current and prospective products and services
  • Establish robust sales development processes
  • Maintain all aspects of the CRM in respect of new and existing clients
  • Attend conferences, buyer events, sales conventions, etc.
  • Manage existing client relationships to include additional sales to their account
  • Comply with all internal and external processes and quality systems relevant to the role
The person
  • Proven track record generating new business in engineering/construction sector.
  • Motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience with Fasteners & Fixings and/or Engineering Consumables (Desirable)
