BT is seeking exceptional individuals with proven experience in winning new B2B business to boost share in the corporate market, with focus on transport, manufacturing and retail. We are a global leader in secure connectivity and collaboration platforms, serving businesses from large enterprises to startups. This role focuses on identifying and shaping opportunities, building relationships, and leading early-stage sales activities.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying new business opportunities by recommending and shaping the pipeline based on market trends and white space.
  • Focusing on early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, with full sales cycle ownership.
  • Building relationships, engaging with and influencing stakeholders in relevant verticals.
  • Value proposition design to refine messaging for nurture campaigns based on buyer insight.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
  • Identifying procurement routes and timelines, helping shape early positioning.
  • Stakeholder engagement across the region or vertical, building net new relationships.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in business development, particularly in the transport, manufacturing and retail industries.
  • Track record of winning major acquisition business with corporate customers.
  • Telco/ICT or technology sales industry experience is preferable.
  • Experience in gaining access and building new relationships at executive level.
  • Navigates ambiguous, early-stage opportunities.
