Job description

We are hiring for an energetic and proactive New Business Development, Director, to join our Global New Logo Sales team. This is an important entrepreneurial position within the team and an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within a high-growth company.

This role is for you if you are a versatile and tenacious sales professional. You like to work independently as well as collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, and Customer Success team members to deliver outstanding client service and maximise the value of the global business.

As an individual contributor, you will report into the VP, Global New Business Sales and be in a sales position focused on the acquisition of new biopharma and life sciences clients.

Responsibilities
  • Generate sales to net new biopharma and life sciences (CROs, CDMOs, service providers) clients within assigned sales territory (France, Benelux, Nordics) to attain bookings target
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Sell the entirety of the Evaluate and Citeline solution portfolios
  • Develop great professional relationships with all clients and prospects to maximise lifetime value of each account
  • Utilize Evaluate’s Salesforce CRM system to document all sales activities and provide accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline reports and sales forecasts on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and SDR teams on regular and targeted campaigns to introduce new services, generate sales leads and promote the Evaluate and Citeline brands
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data /analytics, and technology
  • Knowledge of the drug development and commercialization lifecycle
  • Relevant experience in SaaS sales, with great exposure and experience selling to biopharma and life sciences companies
  • Proven consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development and closing sales
  • You have a track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Fluency in French and English required, including the ability to conduct meetings, negotiations, and written communication in either language.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from 70,000-85,000 GBP plus commission. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
