A governmental organization is seeking a Grade 7 Business Architect in Cardiff to lead business architecture initiatives, influence decision making, and drive strategic alignment across programs. Business Architecture within ETG is part of a combined strategy, architecture & design service, partnering across HMRC and wider government to facilitate change and transformation. We are delivery and outcome focused, seeking to understand each area of the organisation, build knowledge to pull together architecture views, and tell a coherent story of how HMRC is transforming - in a simple language for everyone to understand. As a Grade 7 Business Architect, you will be expected to lead by shaping architectural thinking, influencing decision-making, guiding teams, and driving strategic alignment across programmes. You will help ensure the sum of the parts moves the organisation forward while reducing cost and time to implement, develop our Business Architecture Profession, share knowledge, mentor others, and contribute to our career development framework.
About Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG): ETG is responsible for developing a single transformation plan for HMRC and working with partners to deliver it. The plan coordinates policy, processes, people and platform, designs common solutions that work across the tax system, and drives HMRC towards its vision of a digital, efficient organisation.
