Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Business Analyst to manage detailed requirements for the Digital Marketplace program. The ideal candidate has experience in large-scale, tech-based transformations and can bridge business needs with technical specifications. This role offers flexibility to work mostly remotely, with occasional on-site meetings in the North-West. Ideal for candidates with recruitment or HR experience.

Role Overview

The Business Analyst (BA) will be a critical bridge between the front office (business needs) and the technology development team, managing the detailed, day-to-day requirements for the next wave of the Digital Marketplace program. This role involves translating high-level business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring clear communication and expectation management across teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis on large-scale, tech-based transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detailed Requirements Management: Get into the nitty-gritty of writing detailed user stories.
  • Technical Liaison: Work directly with the technical teams, including onshore developers who interact with the offshore team, on feasibility and estimation of requirements.
  • Technical Translation: Translate business needs and functional elements into clear, technical requirements for the development teams.
  • Process Adherence: Be comfortable working within a structured and sometimes prescriptive environment, adopting existing processes rather than having complete autonomy.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Business Analysis on large-scale, tech-based transformation programs.
  • A profile that demonstrates the ability to bridge the gap between technical processes and functional elements.
  • Comfortable working in a structured environment and adopting existing program processes.
  • Experience in the recruitment, HR, or staffing industry is ideal, though similar program experience in other industries is acceptable.
Exclusions
  • This role does not include testing or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) responsibilities.
  • A background in AI is not a critical element or a necessary factor for a stronger candidacy.

This role can be worked mostly remotely with occasional workshops and meetings in the North-West. So proximity to this location is preferred.
