This role involves capturing and presenting business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to optimising technology products. The Business Analyst is an integral part of a feature team and a member of the wider Business Analysis community, reporting to a senior Business Analyst within the Life Technology department. The role normally works as the sole Business Analyst on an agile feature team.
The Business Analyst is generally responsible for understanding user and business needs and supporting feature teams to visualise and deliver desired business outcomes. The Business Analyst requires a good understanding of one or more of the Life Technology products and contributes to the positive change of those systems and processes from a backlog of features. They build key relationships with peers in business and technology.
They are an active player in the BA community across Technology, collaborating with other Business Analysts working on similar types of work.
