Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join our Architecture & Building Surveying (ABS) team.

You will be based in our Cirencester office, focusing on:
• Contract administration and project monitoring
• Building surveys and report writing
• Schedules of Condition and preventative maintenance programmes
• Preparing tenders and contract documents
• Advising on contractor and designer appointments and procurement routes
• Scheme design and specifications
• Schedules of dilapidations
• Preservation and conservation of historic buildings
• Full understanding of CDM2015 duties
• Building regulations applications
• Demonstrating professional building surveying expertise
• Managing client relationships with high standards of client care
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients and managing relationships independently
• Leading and developing junior staff
• Contributing to service line standards and acting as a skills leader
• Awareness of RICS guidelines and best practices related to Party Wall Act, project management, Employers Agent, and Reinstatement Cost Assessments
