Qualifications

  • Driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent   Location: London

A consultancy is seeking a hard-working and capable Building Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting role for someone to come in and join an excellent team.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake detailed building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments
  • Identify building defects and propose cost-effective repair and maintenance solutions
  • Prepare and present professional technical reports, including schedules of condition, dilapidations, and building pathology assessments
  • Deliver advice on design, construction, repair, and refurbishment projects
  • Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, sustainability, and building regulations requirements
  • Provide party wall advice and prepare necessary notices
  • Provide maintenance reports on planned preventative works
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, industry standards, and best practice
Qualifications / Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Building Surveyor
  • Proven experience in building surveying within residential and/or commercial sectors
  • Driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • The ability to work in a team or individually
  • Qualified Building Surveyor to RICS
