About Us: we\'re a growing team of building consultants and surveyors working across the Suffolk area to improve the quality and safety of residential homes. We specialise in Disrepair, building performance, damp and mould diagnostics, and retrofit consultancy.

The Opportunity

We\'re looking for an experienced Residential Surveyor to join our Damp & Mould Team in the Midlands. You\'ll be responsible for conducting in-depth inspections of residential properties, diagnosing causes of damp, mould and condensation, and producing high-quality reports that support our clients in delivering safer, healthier homes.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out on-site inspections to assess damp, mould and condensation issues
  • Record environmental data (humidity, temperature, surface moisture readings)
  • Include photographic context and elevation imagery to support findings
  • Provide clear, client-friendly reporting that aligns with industry best practice
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in residential or building surveying, preferably within social housing
  • A solid understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent report-writing skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
