A leading event venue in Greater London is seeking a Building Services Technician to ensure the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities include delivering maintenance and repairs, working collaboratively across teams, and ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates must be flexible with working hours, including late shifts. Taxi services are available for late-night workers residing within the M25 area.
The Building Services Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services within a major event and performance venue. This position supports the maintenance, reliability, and performance of the venue's facilities, directly contributing to the successful delivery of events and the overall functionality of the building. The postholder will work across a wide variety of systems, carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and small project work to a high professional standard.
The role requires availability any time between 7:00am and 2:00am, Monday to Sunday, with building services staff required on‑site 365 days a year.
Due to limited public transport options at 2:30am, the organisation provides a taxi home for team members finishing late shifts. To be eligible for this, candidates must reside within the M25 area, which serves as the boundary for late–shift transport support.
