Overview

Building Maintenance Technician – East Sussex. Salary up to £34K depending on skills, experience and qualifications. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00–16:30 with 30 minutes lunch. Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays. Pension. Car owner/driver (once on site a vehicle is provided).

Responsibilities
  • Carpentry, basic plumbing and electrics – all-round building maintenance experience.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Organise and liaise with sub-contractors as required.
  • Communicate effectively with Tenants and contractors to address a wide range of maintenance issues.
  • Be able to work in a team or on own initiative; training will be provided as needed to support the maintenance programme.
