The Building Craftsperson role at St George's Hospital involves delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services. Monitor and control building systems to optimise energy efficiency.

The role includes both reactive and planned maintenance of building services with more emphasis on plumbing jobs. You’ll provide technical support for capital projects and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include managing repairs, conducting risk assessments, and supervising maintenance assistants and apprentices. Effective communication and the use of IT systems for monitoring and control are crucial. You’ll also participate in emergency response arrangements as needed.
