Job summary

A leading reinsurance firm in London is looking for a Broker Support Manager to drive operational excellence and improve client experiences. Qualifications

Overview

Are you ready to lead operational excellence and drive positive change in a fast‑paced, global environment? Gallagher Re is seeking a dynamic Broker Support Manager, to join our Global Facultative reinsurance team! In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate a team of broker support professionals, ensuring support for brokers, seamless transitions to servicing and claims, and continuous process improvement. You will play a vital role as a partner to leadership, compliance, and operational teams, championing guidelines and regulatory compliance.

How you'll make an impact
  • Lead and Manage: Coordinate broker support operations, ensuring efficient processes that drive sales, revenue growth, and outstanding client experiences.
  • Drive Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency, automation, and systems development.
  • Data & Compliance: Ensure robust data controls, regulatory compliance, and consistency in global procedures.
  • People Development: Mentor and develop your team, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and career growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Own onboarding, training, and standardised processes for new joiners and broker support staff.
  • Internal Partner Collaboration: Develop positive relationships with internal partners, including Sanctions/Financial Crime, Market Security, Legal, Compliance, and more.
  • Client Focus: Coordinate contract creation, renewal management, client onboarding, and ensure accurate documentation and hand‑offs.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the re/insurance industry, preferably in broking operations.
  • Solid understanding of reinsurance or facultative business is highly preferred.
  • Proven management experience in a large, matrixed corporate environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Eligible to work in the relevant location.
  • Ability to travel as the need arises.
