Job description

Our client is a leading Lloyd’s Broker with a strong reputation for providing innovative risk solutions across specialist lines. With continued growth in their Entertainment division, they are now seeking an experienced Entertainment Broker to join their London team.

The Role

As an Entertainment Broker, you will be responsible for placing and managing risks across the entertainment sector, covering areas such as film & TV production, live events, music, theatres, and other media-related risks. You will work closely with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions in line with client needs and market developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the entertainment sector.
2. Negotiate and place risks within the Lloyd’s and London market, ensuring competitive and compliant coverage.
3. Manage the full broking lifecycle, from initial presentation through to placement and ongoing servicing.
4. Liaise with underwriters to structure innovative solutions for complex and unique risks.
5. Support new business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with pitches.
6. Keep up to date with market trends, emerging risks, and changes within the entertainment industry.
7. Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to provide cross-class solutions where required.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Broker within the London or Lloyd’s market, ideally with exposure to entertainment, contingency, or media risks.
2. Strong market relationships with both clients and underwriters.
3. Ability to manage complex risks and negotiate effectively.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Proactive, driven, and client-focused, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
6. CII qualification (or progress towards) preferred but not essential.
