Experience required...

Essential:

  • UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
    • Experience in leading technical teams within a public infrastructure or highways context.
    • Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it), with expertise in bridges or large civil structures.
    • Managing complex engineering projects, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Proficient in developing and implementing asset management plans for bridges, interpreting data for strategic investment and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards throughout the asset lifecycle.
    • Experience with contracts and procurement processes.
    • Working within a political and multi-agency environment.
    • Clear, confident communication with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
    • Adapting to change and promoting best practice in engineering risk, design standards, and statutory compliance.
    • A full UK driving licence
