Overview

The owner of a bakery production kitchen based near Blyth, fully equipped to handle a large production, is seeking 2 Bakers. The team of Bakers produce hand crafted pastries as well as sourdough bread, with a huge focus on innovation and creativity across the range. The whole team is encouraged to have menu input and develop bread & pastry ideas for the range, under the guidance of the kitchen management team. The business is people-focused and the owner is looking for an individual who thrives in working within a team and is looking to progress their skills in a Baker role.

Responsibilities

Produce hand crafted pastries and sourdough bread; contribute ideas for new products and ranges; work with the kitchen management team to develop bread and pastry concepts; collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards and a positive team environment.

Candidate must be
  • Experienced in bread; organised, a good communicator, and able to manage own workload efficiently
  • Quality driven, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Innovative, creative and determined to be the best
  • Genuinely interested in products and passionate about baking
  • Well-presented, adaptable and a good team player
Shifts

Must be able to work shifts between 2:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Saturday over 5 days, 40 hours a week.
