As our Welshpool Branch Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our branch operations. You’ll lead a passionate team, optimize store performance, and implement strategies to boost sales across all categories.
Having influence over our network and operation, this position would suit a self-motivated individual with strong business acumen who can drive the business and demonstrate great leadership qualities. A genuine care for team members and supporting them to succeed is important.
We can teach you everything about batteries but would expect you to have strong people management, customer relationship experience and able to grow sales - this is vital for you to succeed in this role!
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm (45-hour week)
The main duties of this role include:
4-5 nights away per month
Build relationship with customers
Lead, coach and mentor warehouse and sales staff
Operational management of branch, including debtor control and stocktakes
Manage effective stock control (FIFO) to minimize aged stock
Ensure customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.

About YOU
Hold a current Forklift licence or willing to obtain one
Licensed and confident to drive a manual vehicle preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience in customer relationship
Sales drive mindset with a knack for hitting targets
Able to lead and coach the branch team to excel
Capable and competent with managing administrative tasks, sales reports, stocktakes etc
Strong commercial abilities accompanied by the financial discipline to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of the branch
Values workplace safety and puts it first
Able to build relationship with customers and team
Well-developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, including some repetitive lifting (25kg+)
