Job description

A fast growing and successful accountancy practice based in Barnstaple is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper and VAT Senior as a key addition to this firm delivering year end accounts, bookkeeping, reviewing VAT returns, assisting on tax compliance, along with wider service delivery.

Client Details

This growing Barnstaple based accountancy practice acts for a wide ranging and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, limited company OMBs, SMEs and other clients of varying sectors and turnover size. The firm has a friendly, welcoming culture with a good team spirit. Study support on offer for those studying. Ideally full time, whilst part time four days a week can also be considered.

Description

You will join the team as a Bookkeeper and VAT Senior where you will take responsibility for the hands on provision of year end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, reviewing VAT returns and other services to a wide spectrum of clients. You will ac for wide ranging industry sole traders , limited companies and partnerships and you will have opportunity to carve a long term career move, as a highly valued addition in this close knit team of professionals.

Profile

You may be AAT qualified, studying or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date or be pursuing ACCA or other qualifications. You will have a background working the accountancy practice sector specifically as hands on Bookkeeper and VAT Senior level professional or similar. You will bring a mix, or any of year end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT etc in your career background and be looking to find a new career move, where you can become a key, long term addition to a successful team and firm.

Job Offer
