A proactive and detail-focused Finance professional to take responsibility for our bookkeeping and financial systems. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking for flexibility while playing a vital role in a values-led organisation. You’ll oversee day-to-day finance while refining systems, reporting and budgets to ensure they are effective, compliant and fit for purpose across the charity.

You’ll need...
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and finance administration
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, systems and reporting
  • Experience preparing management accounts and supporting budgets
  • Understanding of VAT returns, payroll processes and statutory compliance
  • Experience supporting audits and working with external accountants
  • High levels of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience of Xero or similar accounting software
  • Charity sector knowledge and experience would be advantageous

  • Highly organised and able to manage your workload independently
  • Confident supporting senior leaders, trustees and committees with clear financial information
  • A strong communicator who can explain finance matters to non-finance colleagues
  • Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused
