Job summary

A global industrial contractor in London is seeking a Full-Time Accountant to manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have Sage Accounting experience and a professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CGA preferred). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. This position offers a salary range of $30-$38 per hour with additional benefits including a monthly RRSP.

  • Invoicing and progress draws
  • Managing Accounts Receivable
  • Preparing cheques for Accounts Payable
  • Posting monthly utilities bills
  • Managing Petty Cash Fund
  • Balancing and posting monthly visas
  • Preparing Bank Deposits
  • Balancing and posting Union Dues and Benefits
  • Tracking in Excel Monthly Pension Contributions
  • Preparing Statutory Declarations and Notice of Project Forms
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Managing Year End Accounting Procedures
  • Preparing T4's and T4A Summary
  • Matching Incoming Purchase Orders with the Jobs
  • Filling out Credit Applications for new suppliers
  • Ordering office supplies

Skills

Sage Accounting experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Education

Shift & Schedule: 7.5 hour shift

Day shift: 8:30am-4pm Monday to Friday
