Job description

Important notice

In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.

We’re looking for a Booking & Sales Co‑ordinator to manage bookings and provide exceptional customer service for the North Coast area. This is a varied role that combines sales, communication and coordination, ensuring smooth operations and great experiences for our visitors and clients.

What it's like to work here

Flanked by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs, for centuries the Giant’s Causeway has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate, and captured the imagination of all who see it. Here at our award‑winning Visitor Centre, we welcome over 400,000 visitors every year coming to explore the world‑famous basalt and iconic coastline. This is an operational role based at the Giant’s Causeway.

What you'll be doing

Your role will focus on coordinating all types of bookings — from initial enquiries through to confirmations and final arrangements — ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage. Clear and timely communication is key, with customers and internal teams, so that everyone has the information they need at the relevant time.

You’ll provide regular updates to the travel trade industry and act as a consistent point of contact, delivering exceptional service every time.

Forecasting will be part of your responsibilities, supplying daily, weekly and monthly reports to help departments manage costs and resources effectively.

Sales will also play a role — you’ll actively promote sites across the North Coast area, upselling where possible and attending trade shows and exhibitions to showcase our attractions.

Maintaining accurate records and business systems will be essential, as well as ensuring compliance with Trust procedures and supporting environmental management.
