Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Book Shelver Assistant, located in Stirling. The Book Shelver Assistant will be responsible for organizing and shelving books, ensuring that the library materials are properly arranged for easy access by patrons. The role involves assisting with book displays, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of library areas, and providing support with inventory management. The assistant will also aid library users by answering queries and directing them to the appropriate resources within the library.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and shelve books and other library materials to ensure accurate cataloging and easy access for patrons.
  • Assist with book displays and promotions to support library programs and events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of library areas and ensure a welcoming environment for users.
  • Support inventory management, including tracking items and assisting with stock-taking.
  • Aid library users by answering questions and directing them to appropriate resources within the library.
