Overview

3 Years Fixed Term Contract

Flexible with mix of online and in person meetings in Gloucester

GBP4,500 per annum and relevant training (An uplift in salary is expected to come into effect in 2026)

Approx. two days per month plus preparation time, and up to four strategic planning days per year.

Responsibilities
  • Join as a Non–Executive Director on our Board and relevant committees and contribute to governance and decision-making.
  • Bring financial or treasury management expertise and use your knowledge to effectively challenge and positively impact on our work in these areas.
  • Support and uphold the organisation’s values while keeping customers at the heart of strategic decision making.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Financial or treasury management expertise.
  • Passion for Gloucester and an interest in the housing sector or regulatory context is useful but not essential.
  • Experience or lived experience in the social housing sector, or from groups underrepresented on boards (e.g., people with a disability) is welcomed.
  • Understanding of housing sector regulation is useful but not essential; training and support will be provided.
  • Commitment to diversity and to representing the diverse backgrounds of our customers.
