Project Engineer - Building Management Systems (BMS)

We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading player in the Smart Buildings & BMS industry. You'll be responsible for delivering multiple projects from design through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manage and engineer multiple concurrent BMS projects across London, working closely with clients, building long‑term relationships and ensuring full satisfaction.
  • Produce and submit technical documentation, equipment selections, and system operation descriptions.
  • Coordinate project resources, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee project health & safety documentation and compliance whilst maintaining financial control of projects - P&L responsibility, invoicing, variations, and supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure projects are fully documented, handed over, and reviewed post‑completion.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical role within the BMS sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building services and control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness – P&L, contract management, and cash flow.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A customer‑first mindset with a focus on delivering quality results.
