£70,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting for a BMS Engineer to join a leading global facilities services provider on one of their flagship sites in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BMS professional to take full ownership of the site's systems and play a key role in ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability.

The Role

As the BMS Engineer, you will be the on site expert, providing both technical delivery and proactive guidance to ensure the BMS is operating at its best. This is not just a standard maintenance position, you will have the opportunity to optimise systems, work closely with stakeholders, and make a real impact on site operations.

Key responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the site's BMS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, and performance improvements.
  • Use BMS data to support energy efficiency and system optimisation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and statutory obligations.
  • Manage critical spares and coordinate with the supply chain.
About You
  • Strong experience working with BMS systems (maintenance, optimisation, fault-finding).
  • An electrical background / qualifications (18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in large commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, banking, data centres).
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
