Biology Teacher - Hounslow, London
A welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Hounslow area is seeking a Biology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a long-term role that will run until at least July 2026, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate. The position is full-time, but the school may consider part-time applications. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary will be based on Outer London MPS/UPS pay scales. On-site parking is available for staff members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Biology lessons across KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
- Create a dynamic and supportive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and academic excellence.
- Develop and implement practical experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, tailoring support to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote a love of science and support students in preparing for university and future STEM careers.

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Biology or a related field
- Excellent subject knowledge, particularly at A-Level
