Overview

Think Construction are excited to be working with one of our trusted clients on a Bid Writer position based out of their office in the West Midlands. They are a leading regional contractor that has taken on blue chip projects around the Midlands for several years.

This role is a key position in the business, taking on and winning new projects, and taking the lead on writing and coordinating high quality expressions of interest to invitations to tender. The role involves targeting bigger and more exciting projects, with values up to £50 million.

The company emphasises local impact and internal promotion, fostering a culture that supports progression and aims to develop future Managers and Directors. Their social value initiative focuses on redeveloping recreation areas or refurbishing community centres near project sites.

Responsibilities

• Take on and win new projects by leading the bid/tender process.
• Write and coordinate high quality expressions of interest (EOIs) and invitations to tender (ITTs).

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveyor from a main contracting background, or equivalent experience relevant to bid writing and tender submissions.
