Overview

Our Business and Client Services Team is responsible for working closely and collaboratively with existing and potential clients, internal teams and alliance partners, positioning the Company at the forefront of its chosen sectors and we are seeking a Bid Writer to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Complete in-depth reviews of tender information, contracts, and specifications to understand the bid requirements (technical and non-technical), response structures and scoring criteria for opportunities up to £50m


• Designing win themes that are concise and consistent, with an authentic and compelling narrative throughout the bid for the client to clearly understand


• Liaise with digital and data subject matter experts to obtain essential information and to design the overall solution including technical aspects


• Write bid responses to meet the solution design; establishing the authentic \"voice\" of the organisation so that responses resonate with the client


• Drive continual, critical improvement of responses, utilising all resources available


• Create new or amend existing content including standard responses as requirements change


• Review and critique bids written by others to ensure that, across the organisation, bid submissions are the best they can be


• Continually improve our digital knowledge management tools and practices for bids, ensuring that the value of knowledge capital is maximised effectively and efficiently


• Ensure collateral for bids is easily accessible and best reflects our services and abilities e.g. case studies, statistics, infographics etc.


• Learn from bid feedback, ensuring continuous improvement of our proposition development and outcomes

Qualifications

• Demonstrable professional experience writing compelling bids and proposals for complex digital transformation programmes.


• Excellent business and persuasive writing skills, preferably with strong experience of writing about technical subject matter


• Bid management experience, preferably within a B2B or professional services environment, but note we are looking for bid writers rather than coordinators or managers.


• Degree in a relevant subject


• Able to work under pressure and to short deadlines with a clear sense of priority within a fast-paced and agile environment


• Excellent work planning capabilities and time management skills


• Ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities


• A meticulous attention to detail


• Punctuality, reliability, and a clear commitment to your role
