Job description

Overview

Our Client is seeking a Bench Assembler. This role is offered as a temp to cover c2 weeks sick leave.

The role involves mechanical assembly – using hand tools to fit components, cutting – assembly of parts etc – packing and general housekeeping of the production area.

Location and Hours

Location: Folkestone – ME19

8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday

8am to 2pm, Friday

Pay

Rate: starting rate up to £12.21 ph PAYE, weekly pay

Requirements

Please note due to our client’s location candidates may need to have their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of CT19 5

As Bench Assembler you will work within a small production team on a production line assembling equipment (no experience of assembling is required but use of hand tools is essential as is being able to stand for the whole shift).

Suitable Bench Assembler candidates will need to possess excellent hand to eye coordination and be physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved.

Previous use of cutting tools would be beneficial

Having your own STC boots or shoes is essential.
