Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate Start / January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a patient, resilient, and dedicated individual passionate about supporting pupils with behavioural needs in the S25 area of Dinnington?

GSL Education are seeking committed Behaviour Support Staff to work in supportive across Dinnington (S25). This rewarding role offers the opportunity to positively impact pupils’ behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning.

As Behaviour Support Staff, you will:
  • Provide targeted support to pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to implement behaviour plans.
  • Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Build trusting relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times.
Requirements for the role:
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is desirable.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable pupils.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
