A leading educational staffing agency in Salford is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a secondary-age pupil with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with challenging behaviour and strong behavioural management skills. This temp to perm position offers a £90+ daily rate, with work scheduled Monday to Friday. Immediate registration and safeguarding checks required.
A secondary SEMH provision in Salford are working with Teaching Personnel in search of a full-time Teaching Assistant. This role would involve supporting a secondary-age pupil with SEMH needs, including challenging behaviour, on a 1:1 basis. Senior leadership of this school require a calm presence who can support this child in and out of class, building a positive relationship and employing positive behaviour management techniques.
This is a full-time role, spanning Monday to Friday throughout school hours. The school are seeking an ASAP starter who can remain a constant, regulating presence in this student’s day-to-day until the end of this academic year. Registration with Teaching Personnel is required. This is a temp to perm role.
The successful TA is expected to have experience with SEMH needs and/or challenging behaviour. You must have strong behavioural management skills and be familiar with the appropriate safeguarding protocols for a child with these needs. A serene and supportive attitude is essential to this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
