A leading environmental consultancy in the UK is seeking a Supervisor for radiological beach surveys. The role includes managing a team, processing survey data, and ensuring health and safety. Ideal candidates should have GCSE-level qualifications and working knowledge of Windows and GIS software. This position entails working in challenging environments and requires effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 as well as either knowledge or the ability to learn to use a variety of project‑based data processing software including GIS and Access. Training will be provided.
Full driving licence – the position involves the use of four‑wheel drive vehicles and trailers, off‑road driving, and a single‑occupancy survey vehicle and tractor. Appropriate training will be provided, including tractor training with a buddy seat in the cab.
Vehicle driving training essential to provide holiday cover and competency to train others.
Comfortable working to support the project in a harsh environment as required.
Flexible start and finish times as required in line with the coastal tides and weather.
Ability to communicate and create a good working partnership with the Client, members of the regulating bodies, various nuclear governing bodies, suppliers, and the general public is essential.
