Job summary

A renowned Thai barbecue restaurant in Greater London is looking for passionate individuals to join their vibrant team. You will execute high-quality drinks service, maintain excellent hospitality standards, and learn about food sourcing. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hospitality experience, a flexible approach to shifts, and the right to work in the UK. About Us:

Smoking Goat is an open-fire Thai barbecue restaurant and bar, serving food inspired by the street food of Bangkok and the laab stalls of northern Thailand. We're a busy restaurant that works closely with exceptional farmers and offers a daily-changing menu. Our drinks programme includes unique beers, natural wines, and a growing vinyl record collection. We welcome applicants looking to grow and be inspired. Thai cooking experience is not required—just a passion for learning and being part of a strong, team-focused restaurant.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Executing fast-paced, consistent, high quality drinks service
  • Balancing the needs of guests dining at the bar with those of a high-pressure dispense
  • Consistently delivering a high standard of hospitality.
  • Communicating comprehensive knowledge of our produce and suppliers to our guests.
  • Operating in alignment with our company values and brand ethos.
  • Demonstrating efficiency in all aspects of service and the ability to multitask.
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Actively participating in and contributing to daily briefings and in-house training sessions.
What you’ll bring:
  • Passion and knowledge of restaurants, good cooking, good sourcing of food and drink are a great headstart. But most important is the appetite to learn, grow and be a part of building the most exciting restaurant group in London.
  • 2 years of experience in hospitality and guest experience.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts across 5 out of 7 days.
  • Full UK right to work documents.
