A leading global legal services provider is expanding its Chambers team in Manchester and Liverpool, seeking Barristers and Solicitor Advocates. This role requires excellent advocacy skills and a valid BSB/SRA Practicing Certificate. The successful candidate will engage in fee earning work, build professional relationships, and attend business development events. Why join us?

As a result of some recent client panel appointments - we are expanding and looking forBarristers and Solicitor Advocatesto join our Chambers team in the North West of England.

Locations including,ManchesterandLiverpool.

The Chambers team specialise in a number of DWF’s core practice areas, including Personal Injury, Fraud, Commercial, Regulatory and Employment.

DWF Chambers provides expert and streamlined advocacy services as alternative to the traditional bar and chambers, the team compromises to date of 24 Advocates and a team of Specialist Clerks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fee earning work in line with the DWF Chambers Policy.
• Bill in line with financial target set by DWF Chambers leadership team.
• Build professional relationships internally and externally to DWF.
• Attend DWF Chambers business development events and seminars.
• Identify individual key contacts / targets.
• Assist with planning for chambers seminar programme e.g. identifying topics for seminars and delivering a minimum of one seminar per annum.
• Contributed to the firm's CSR initiatives.
• Comply with the BSB Handbook including the Code of Conduct.
• Comply with BSB/SRA requirements for continuing professional development.
• Consider transfer to the bar (where solicitor-advocate).
• Comply with firm's objective management requirements (individually and in conjunction with any colleagues who report to them).
• Attend and contribute to annual practice development meeting with Director of Clerking
