Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide effective leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality products that meet or exceed our clients' stringent standards. We are seeking a full-time Team Leader for our Cafe at BaxterStorey, who will be accountable for the following critical responsibilities:

• Implementing and rigorously enforcing BaxterStorey's strategic vision encompassing People, Product, Customers, Environment, and Profitability
• Ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer service through a professional, efficient, and meticulous approach
• Providing authoritative and decisive leadership to the team, including task allocation, performance management, and continuous evaluation
• Supporting the Manager in critical daily operational activities and assuming full managerial responsibilities in their absence
• Coordinating effectively with Front of House (FOH) team to guarantee product excellence, optimal inventory management, and stringent stock control
• Rigorously maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of food safety, occupational health and safety, and professional presentation

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in hospitality, retail, or food service
• Amazing teamwork skills and an ability to drive excellent communication
• Flexibility to work on a rota based schedule
• Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude and professional presentation
• Experience in Front-of-house (FOH) operations, including food service and stock control
• A positive can-do attitude and a desire to improve and win every day
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, especially during peak times
• Ability to work collaboratively with both front and back-of-house teams
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the fast service industry, is often a Plus.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and sanitation practices.
