Cinema in The Power Station is recruiting a Part time/ Full time Bar Supervisor

We are looking for a film-loving bar supervisor.

What do you need to bring with you?

  • Bar supervisor experience, running a busy bar with experience of leading a team
  • Confident bartender; can confidently make cocktails without specs, concise knowledge of wines and spirits
  • Can work evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to take initiative and be proactive at work
  • A positive and friendly attitude
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Commitment and drive
  • Excellent time management
  • Barista experience

Preferable skills/experience:

  • Experience working in a cinema or theatre is desirable
  • While an active interest in film is not essential, it will enhance your application
  • Event experience is desirable

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading the bar team, reporting to and working with the venue managers to ensure smooth running of the bar
  • Meeting and greeting our guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable
  • Provide first class drinks at all times
  • Ensuring the bar, and bar area are kept clean and organized
  • Occasionally helping other areas of the business as requested - extending to the cinema
  • Making sure all checklists and cleaning rota’s are adhered to
