Overview

Our client, a Top 20 UK law firm, seek to recruit an Associate to join their Tier 1 ranked Banking team, in Birmingham.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters including loan facilities, security documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support senior associates and partners in transaction execution, including drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis relevant to banking and finance law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver innovative and client-focused solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in client meetings, calls, and presentations as needed.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the practice.
Qualifications
  • Qualified solicitor with 0 to 3 years post‑qualification experience, preferably gained within private practice.
  • Strong academic background in law, with particular interest or exposure to banking and finance.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
